The TRIOS intraoral scanner can be used with all the treatments offered at our practice, including crown and bridge work, dentures, and implants.

Glidewell IO Fast Mill

One of our most beneficial new technologies is the Glidewell Fastmill.io (“io” meaning In Office) system. We use this technology for same-day dental crowns here in Falls Church.

We use our Glidewell Fastmill.io system to perform several daily tasks in the dental office, including:

• Capturing digital impressions for traditional and same-day restorations, in conjunction with our scanner
• Designing custom crowns for the prepared teeth captured in the digital impressions.
• Milling dental restorations right here in the office for fast, convenient restorative dentistry solutions.

Millenium Perio Lase

The LANAP protocol is a comprehensive approach to treating gum disease around teeth and dental implants using the Millennium PerioLase MVP-7, a free-running pulsed Nd:YAG laser requiring specific knowledge and skills drawn from the whole of dentistry.

It is the only FDA approved procedure for treating periodontitis and for regeneration of lost bone. The LANAP protocol targets the diseased tissue, leaving healthy tissue  intact, while maintaining the height of the tissue and a closure of the periodontal pocket wound. This allow healing to take place while minimizing pain and discomfort to the patient. This means less pain, less bleeding, less swelling, no stitches, less down time and less recovery-time dramatically.

KAVO OP 3D CONE BEAM – 3D IMAGING

We are proud to provide 3D CBCT scans. This scan provides more accurate images of the mouth, teeth, jaw bone density, soft tissues, and nerves in the craniofacial region in one scan. This helps us for more accurate diagnoses and to treat dental and oral surgery conditions. Traditional film and x-ray methods do not provide the level of detail or accuracy that CBCT does.

This scan is only used for certain surgical cases because it does transmit more radiation than other digital x-rays; however, the benefits of this scan outweigh the risks.

CBCT is commonly used in more complex dental implant cases.

Zoom Whitening

A popular alternative to tray methods, Zoom! whitening is a safe and effective bleaching process widely used to lighten the discoloration of enamel and dentin. Tooth discoloration may result from drinking coffee, tea, cola, and red wine, or from smoking. The aging process also can stain and darken your teeth.

The Zoom! in-office tooth whitening procedure uses the Zoom! Advanced Power Chairside Lamp to accelerate the bleaching process to activate the 25 percent hydrogen peroxide whitening gel. As the hydrogen peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin to bleach the stained substances, leaving the tooth's structure unchanged.

Candid Pro - Clear Aligners

Candid Pro Aligners are a revolutionary orthodontic treatment designed to straighten teeth discreetly and effectively. Unlike traditional metal braces, Candid Pro Aligners are made from clear plastic trays that fit snugly over your teeth, making them virtually invisible.
